WOMEN & GIRLS
Wellington Collegians has a proud history of being one of the few clubs in Wellington able to offer female cricket for all ages. For the 2021/22 season, Collegians are offering:
Premier Women (CW Division 1 T20 and 40 over)
Reserve Women (Division 2, mixed formats)
Girls Hardball (Premier Girls Y7-11)
Girls Softball (Sunday League Y5-8)

We pride ourselves on our great team culture and attempt to make trainings fun, but always look to improve our skill sets. All women and girls teams have trainings on Monday evenings located at our home ground Anderson Park in the heart of the city at the Botanical Gardens.
Our Premier Women are the 2020/21 Joy Lamason One-Day trophy holders and are lucky to have a team with both former and current Wellington Blaze players.

For anyone potentially wanting to get involved with the club (no need to have previously played) please contact Ani Chitre (Head Coach): anirudha_chitre@hotmail.com or anirudha.chitre@gmail.com
PATHWAY
Wellington Collegians is striving to increase the number of women and girls club members by strengthening the pathway from girls’ teams through to Premier Women.
Through increased coaching and opportunities within the club, we are establishing ourselves as an aspirational club with a clear pathway from girls’ teams to Premier Women’s grades.
Thanks to Cricket Wellington’s Women and Girls Club Coaching Investment Fund, we have brought on a head coach for our Premier Women’s team, as well as specialist coaches throughout the season to focus on specific skills that our players would like to learn, improve or develop. We also have a Women & Girls Representative role within the club board to provide a voice for this crucial aspect of the club at a governance level.
